General Dynamics Acquisition

Mediaware’s video technology has been utilized by a number of the major US defence system integrators in their video offerings for a number of years.  For example, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GD-AIS) has used Mediaware technology in their widely utilized Multimedia Analysis and Archive System (MAAS®) since shortly after its inception over 10 years ago.

In recognition of its technology offerings and business prospects, GD-AIS purchased Mediaware when it was floated for sale in 2007.  Mediaware subsequently became a wholly owned subsidiary of GD-AIS on 14 November 2007.
